Obituary of Joseph Gomboc

Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 63 years.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Janet and mother Ana.  Loving son of Joseph and brother Robert (Karen).

Remembered by sister-in-law Kathryn Gethings (Ralph) and brother-in-law Victor Kydd (Janice).  Joseph will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Joe was an outstanding high school basketball player for St. Jerome’s.  He graduated from University of Waterloo with a computer science degree.  He moved to Ottawa where he met his wife Janet. Joe worked for the government of Canada as a computer programmer for thirty years.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Joseph with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  Burial at Parkview Cemetery with a reception to follow at the funeral home.
