Obituary of Paul Hartford

Paul passed away peacefully at home in Waterloo on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the age of 66.

Paul was the beloved brother of Brian and Margot. He also leaves behind his niece Amanda, his nephews Michael and Andrew, his sisters-in-law Janice (Munro) Hartford and Roni Voigt (Hartford), and his brother-in-law Pieter Leezenberg. He is predeceased by his parents James and Mary (Fischer), and his brother Jamie.

He will also be missed by his many close friends, most of whom he had known since high school.

Paul was a Fine Art graduate from the University of Waterloo, after which he studied at the Banff Center for the Arts on a painting scholarship. Paul was active in the field of photography all of his life and was an avid collector of all things pertaining to photography, including cameras, video equipment and books. He was most happy finding and repairing vintage and modern cameras.

A celebration for Paul will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 2:30 to 5:30 at his home on Lourdes Street in Waterloo. For directions and details please call 519-886-6774.
