Rev. Dr. Brice Martin

Obituary of Rev. Dr. Brice Lemuel Martin

Passed away suddenly from a heart attack at the age of 75.

Proud father of Anna (Emily) and David (Sara), and beloved brother of Graham (Doris). He is predeceased by his dear wife of 34 years, Erma Hoffman, his brother Charles, and his parents, David and Daisy. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his deep faith, kind heart, and enthusiastic (if somewhat off-key) singing.

As a scholar and theologian, Brice loved books. He authored two and collected thousands of others. After being ordained as a minister in the Presbyterian Church in Canada, Brice pastored congregations in the Orillia and Arthur areas.

Visitation will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, August 3rd from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. On Saturday August 4th, an interment (for family and close friends) will take place at Hawkesville Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. A public Memorial Service will be held at Wallenstein Bible Chapel, 4522 Herrgott Road, Wallenstein on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with light refeshments to follow.

The family would also like to thank the staff and residents of Luther Village for their warm care and friendship of Brice these last few years.
