Obituary of Rose Golka

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at her home in Waterloo, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the age of 91.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence in 2000.  Loving mother of Karin MacLean and Raymond Golka, proud grandmother of Jason and Jerry, and sister of Martha Chivas of California and Margaret Bruckler of Waterloo.  Rose will be remembered by the LeMarche family, Joan Harbin, Charles Kalka, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her son-in-law Craig MacLean and parents Peter and Rosa Ornik.

Rose was employed at the University of Waterloo in housekeeping services for 25 years.

Cremation has taken place and at the family’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
