I know Terri's dad as Mr Dietrich. He was always very kind to me and his daughter's friends, and had a sense of humour that makes you feel comfortable immediately. I loved his smile! I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. D! He was a charismatic man with a great sense of humour.
One of my most vivid memories is the evening he convinced me that a slice of red chili (that he was undoubtedly using to make hot sauce) was a piece of licorice. I took a big bite, we all laughed and he handed me a bit glass of water!
