Obituary of Eugenie (Jean) Goertz

Jean passed away peacefully at Heritage House in St. Jacobs on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the age of 88.

Loving wife of William (Bill) Goertz, mother of Manfred and wife Janette Goertz, and Oma of Brandon and Evan.

Predeceased by parents Adolf and Olga Martin and sister Erna Schunke.

Jean retired in 1995 from the Waterloo Inn.

The Goertz family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Marilyn Rushton officiating.  A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.
