Obituary of Robbin Harris

Passed away peacefully in the home of her son, surrounded by those she loved, after a short battle with cancer on September 3, 2018 at the age of 58.

Predeceased by her loving husband Graham Harris in 2003. Robbin was the loving mother of her only son David and his partner Morgan, and amazing Nan to Benjamin.

Robbin was a strong, independent woman, that had a “do what I want” approach to life. Her sense of humour and tremendous generosity was lost on no one that she met. Robbin felt blessed to have found her biological family (Korolenko/Wilson) and met them shortly before her passing.

The family wish to thank the Grand River Cancer Center, specifically the team of Dr. Kuk, Dr. Hubey, and the Pain and Symptom Management team; also, to thank and show tremendous gratitude to CarePartners, specifically RN Dianne, that helped keep Robbin at home and as comfortable as possible.

In lieu of flowers Robbin would appreciate donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Grand River Cancer Center.

There will be a celebration of life for family and friends on Sunday, September 9, 2018 between 1-5pm at David and Morgan’s home.
