Obituary of Lois Petker

Lois passed away peacefully at Hilltop Manor LTC in Cambridge on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the age of 92.

Predeceased by her husband John in 2014.  Loving mother of David Petker and his wife Sue and Robert (wife Sara deceased).  Cherished grandmother of Ian, Amy, William, Andrew, and Katie and great-grandmother of Molly.  Survived by brother Bill Goodyear and his wife Chris.  Lois will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents John and Retta (Doherty) Goodyear, brothers Roy and Howard Goodyear, and her twin sister Dorene Goodyear.

Lois was a member of All Saints Anglican Church in Waterloo.  Special thanks to the staff at Hilltop Manor, Doon Village Retirement Home, and the Waterloo-Wellington LHIN for providing the nursing care and support that she desired.

According to family wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation and no funeral service.  Interment will be held at a later date.
