Dear Mom: I miss you very much and will always keep the best memories of you close to my heart. Sometimes the mind forgets, but the heart never does. I am happy that you are free of pain in a place where pain doesn't exist. I didn't know that the recent phone conversation we had would be our last, but I know I will see you again. Forever your son, Gord

Allan and Bruce and Gord. I’m so sorry to hear about Helen’s death! I have such fond memories of us growing up. I will never forget the fun we had together and the kindness your parents gave to me while at your house on Guelph St. I was so glad I got out to Halifax to see Helen in August. We had a nice visit as well as many lovely phone calls over the past six months. I will miss her dearly. Gord, Your mom thought the world of you. Love, Liz (Hiller) Shantz
