Obituary of Helen Macnaughton

Of Halifax, N.S., formerly of Waterloo. Passed away on Sept 4, 2018 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 62. Long-term partner of Dan Frazee of Halifax, who has siblings Scott, Nancy, Susan and Ted. Mother of Gordon Douglas Bingeman of Waterloo. Sister to Bruce Macnaughton (Rosemary Cliffe) of Toronto and Alan Macnaughton (Bonnie Lauber) of Kitchener. Aunt of Craig and Mandi Macnaughton of Ottawa and Bessie Macnaughton of Kitchener. Niece of Mona Pumfrey (and the late Arlo Pumfrey) of Victoria, B.C. Daughter of the late Doug and Alice Macnaughton of Kitchener. While living in K-W, Helen worked in the geography and social work departments at WLU. Helen cared about turtles and tortoises all of her life.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Helen with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday September 15, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a service to follow immediately in the chapel of the funeral home. Reception to follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.
