Obituary of Kenneth Ward DeCoppel

Passed away peacefully at Winston Park, Kitchener on Tuesday September 18, 2018 at the age of 90, with his family by his side.  Beloved husband of Marian, who predeceased him in 2012.  Ken was married for 58 years, and was father of David ( Debbie ), Doug ( Stephanie ), Mark ( Ruth ), Jeff and Steven.  Grandpa of Teresa ( Eric ), Bryan ( Teri-Ann ), Kelly, Nicolle, Breanne and Shealyn.  Great Grandpa of Colton, Sophia and Olivia. Ken was predeceased by his mother Leah and his brothers and sisters.  Ken was a faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Ken was born April 3, 1928 in Waterloo and had 2 brothers ( Warren and Ron ) and 2 sisters ( Wilma and Jean ). He worked at Electrohome, Lear Seating and Hauser Furniture.  In his retirement, Ken and Marian loved to travel to Florida, and loved to be grandparents.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Ken with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday September 20, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday September 21 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow in the Fireside Room. Interment to take place at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
