Obituary of Ernest Eugene Reinhart

Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Nursing Home LTC, Elmira on October 3, 2018, at the age of 94.  Loving husband of Alice for 73 years.

 

Dear father of Sandra (Bill) McNamara and Nancy (Chuck) Thomas.

 

Cherished grandfather of Erin (Ed) Roach and their son Jordan, Alison (Jeff) Mundt and their daughters Ava and Audrey, Lisa (Steven) Janssen and their children Adam, Ryan and Megan, Keri Thomas and Richard Thomas.

 

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Jennie Reinhart; his brothers Lorne and Lloyd and his sister Jeanette McNanney.

 

Ernie worked for 38 years and retired from BF Goodrich, Kitchener.  He had a great love for landscaping which he enjoyed until the age of 75. Spent many hours creating beautiful oil paintings which his family now enjoy.  A parishioner of St. Agnes RC Church and a longtime member of the Waterloo Knights of Columbus.

 

At Ernie’s request there will be no visitation or service.   A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
