Aunt Adele will forever be a woman I always looked up to. She was light where there was darkness. Charming and bubbly. Sassy and funny. Foulmouthed and kind. Funny and gentle.
Wonderfully weird in a world that takes itself far too seriously.
Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her very quickly fell for her.
She could bond and strike a conversation with anyone she met.
She brought smiles wherever she went. She had a hard life yet she always managed to see the good in most any situation.
She never lost her soft heart or her intense belief in love no matter what kind of heartache befell her.
She was the best friend I had in this world when I was a little girl and my heart aches to know I'll never hear that raspy voice again.
I credit many of my personality traits (good and bad) to her.. I hate that I saw her less and less of her as I grew up.
You never know when someone will be taken... So never hesitate to tell someone you love them. Speak your mind. Say what you feel. Never go to bed angry. Never hang up in a rage. Don't hold grudges and be kind to one another, because tomorrow may not come.
Rest peacefully Aunt Adele.
I miss you.
