To Brian's Family......Belated though my words be, time does not diminish the sadness I hold for the loss of a good friend. To Chris and Sean, who I got to know so very well from our time with Forest Hill T-Ball, I especially want to express words of sorrow and comfort. Your dad and I go WAY back to those days of House League T-Ball and to the years that he and I served as Co-Umpires-in-Chief for the Canadian Open T-Ball Tournament, the biggest of its kind in Canada. Those were some fun years working alongside your dad. And, of course, I got to know him in a professional capacity as the two of us spent many years with the Canada Revenue Agency. I hold Brian in such high and fond regard. Know that he is deeply missed by so many. But, like you, I will take comfort and delight in the memories I have of him and the life he lived. A piece of Brian lives within us all! God bless all of his family and friends as we grief the loss of a dear soul. May his legacy live on in all of us.
