Obituary of Wilhelm "Willi" Lotrijan

It is with very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our  father Wilhelm Lotrijan (Willi) on Saturday November 9th, 2024 at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of the late Katherine Anne, cherished father of daughters, Sheri (Chris T) and Lisa (Chris H) and loving Opi to four grandsons, Riley, Evan, Liam and Jack. 

We are consoled by the knowledge that Willi has been reunited with his wife Katherine ((Kathi) so soon after her passing on September 21, 2024. 

Willi will be dearly missed by his brother Johann, sister-in-law Yana, nephews  Matthias and Zlatko and niece Slavica. His sister-in-law Barbara, nephews Mark, Curtis, Kevin and Robin, nieces Susan and Nancy and their families. And many many friends.

Predeceased by parents Johann and Anna, sister Katarina and infant daughter. 

Willi was a friend to everyone. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that asked. An avid hunter and fisherman for many years, as well as a member and competitor at many local sportsman's clubs. He was also the life of the party dancing up a storm at the Schwaben Club every chance he got.

Willi loved his grandson's incredible energy and zest for life and often joined them in soccer and baseball games at local parks and school yards.   Willi always had a joke to make you smile, often ending in fits of laughter when he got the grandsons involved.

A combined Celebration of Life for Kathi and Willi will take place on December 14 from 1pm till 4pm at the Schwaben Club (50 Scheifele Place, PO Box 356,  Breslau, Ontario  NOB 1MO)
