Dorraine was a gentle soul- sweet and soft-spoken. She loved to explore on walks, pausing to take in the world around her, always drawn to the beauty in small things. She found comfort in holding a magazine or a simple sheet of paper, reading and absorbing what she could. Patience was key with her, as she often hesitated and second-guessed herself, but when met with kindness, she responded with warmth. She appreciated niceties- beautiful colours, lovely paintings, kind words. She was never grumpy, only thoughtful. I will always remember the quiet moments of care, like tucking her into bed, slipping on her socks, and waving goodbye from the doorway- her small wave back, peeking out from beneath the blankets, a memory I will always hold close. Rest in peace, Dorraine.
