I met Tasha at the open mics she organized at Cafe Pyrus in the summer of 2023 and following that we became friends on FaceBook. I didn't get to know Tasha that well but it's clear she had an outsized influence on people and on the music and cultural life of KW. I felt a special kinship with Tasha since her surname, Allain, was my mom's maiden name and my mom raised me in a single parent family. Tasha was indeed a special soul, always sending positive thoughts out into the world and devoted to the best things in life - music, love and laughter! May the music of love and laughter she created here on earth follow her beyond the sky.
Condolences to her Allain family, I am so sorry for your loss.
