After suffering with many health issues, Saturday, February 1, 2025 is a very sad day for the Kennedy Ernest Family with the passing of Jacqueline Annette Kennedy Ernest. She passed away at Freeport Hospital at 7:30 a.m. with family by her side.

She was born November 12, 1997 to proud parents, Barry Ernest and Gail Kennedy Ernest and big sister to Katlyn Alyssa Kennedy Ernest. Jacqueline will be missed by grandmothers Linda and Lois, aunts Cheryl, Shelley, and Gerry, uncles Rob, Jim, and Randy, cousins Brittany, Ashley, Brody, Patrick, Michael, Devon, and Travis. She will be reunited with grandfathers Roy and Nelson, Aunt Judy, and Uncle Keith.

Jacqueline was an animal lover, especially to her bunnies Skutter and Missy. She loved to play softball, listen to music, enjoy a good “steak with mashed potatoes, corn, and do not forget the gravy on the side.” She made friends with many, and was very outgoing.

Many thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Grand River and Freeport Hospitals.

The family will host Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin in the chapel at 12:00 p.m, with a reception to follow. A livestream of the service will be available on the funeral home’s website. A private interment will be held in the spring at Williamsburg Cemetery.
