Obituary of Heinrich Johann Vincenz Schmitt

Heinrich Johann Vincenz Schmitt passed away Sunday February 2, 2025, at the age of 94.

Heinrich is survived by his wife of 62 years, Siglinde, as well as his daughter Sheila (Claus Ruthardt), and grandchildren Nicole and Nicholas Ruthardt. Also survived by his sister Gertrud in Germany.

Predeceased by five of his siblings, as well as his parents, Johann and Katharina.

Heinrich emigrated to Canada and worked at BF Goodrich for 25 years. He lead a remarkable life, and was still driving up until the age of 93.
