Lindsay founded GP Service Station Maintenance in his home in 1980 and incorporated it  in 1983. He was a deeply involved and hardworking CEO and upon retirement he passed the torch to his two sons. His energy and work ethic set a strong example for many people in his life.

Lindsay’s life included many adventures with his children and friends, ski-dooing, hunting, and fishing trips. He relished being outside and had a special place in his heart for the Ottawa Valley (God’s country).

His big heart, wonderful laugh and humour will be greatly missed. He was a big kid at heart with a beautiful smile, and a twinkle in his eye. He leaves his family with an immense sense of how much he loved them, and how much he loved his fur babies, too.

Special thanks to the wonderful people at Winston Park (aka his girlfriends) for their incredible love and care, for both Lindsay and Sue over the last eight years. They were like family and made us feel so cared for.

A celebration of Lindsay’s life will be held at the Edelweiss Tavern on Sunday February 16th from 2-4pm. Please bring your favourite stories and memories to share.

A private family interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to Parkinson Canada may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S. Waterloo at www.erbgood.com
