Mary Jane Hilker

1941 – 2025

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, on February 9, 2025 at the age of 83 years.

Mary will be sadly missed by her children; Brad (Nancy) and Michelle (Adam) Pratt and her grandchildren Cameron, Tristan and Rosalind.  Survived by her brother Elgin (Grace) and brother-in-law Michael Geffros.

Predeceased by her parents William and Edna McCandless, by siblings Harold, Marg Schmitt, Gerald, Donnie and Cora Geffros. 

Mary was born in Bright Ontario, raised in Conestogo and continued her life in the Kitchener Waterloo area. She worked as a homemaker and at various office jobs. She will be remembered as a dependable, kind person with a big heart and great sense of humour. 

Cremation has taken place and her children will meet with family and friends at a later date.
