Obituary of Grace Kathleen King

It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of Grace Kathleen King who now rests in the arms of our heavenly Father. Grace passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 after battling cancer. Grace is survived by her son Adam and his girlfriend Talia, sisters Anne and Glenn, Jane and Harold. Nieces and nephews Kailyn, Rachel, Brittney, Irene, Stanley, Dylan, Jacob, Noah and Zachary.

Grace enjoyed her Faith FM and it gave her so much joy, always putting a smile on her face.

Thank you to Grace’s church friends and Father Christopher for their support. A special thank you to Dr. Spencer Ler, the physician and amazing nursing teams at Freeport Palliative Care for allowing Grace to embrace her battle with courage and on her own terms.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, February 17^th from 5 – 8 p.m. with trisagion prayers being held at 6:30 p.m.

The funeral service will take place at Christ the Saviour Antiochian Orthodox Church, 96 Dunbar Road South, Waterloo on Tuesday, February 18^th, 2025, at 11 a.m., the mercy meal will be held afterward. Interment will take place at Chesterfield Cemetery.
