On Thursday, February 20, 2025, Elfrieda Hildebrand passed away peacefully at the age of 90.

She was predeceased by husband of 69 years, Peter J Hildebrand. She is survived by her four children, Patricia, Sharon (Jim Brown), Peter, and Sandi (Bob Schellenberg); six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Fairview Mennonite Home for the outstanding compassionate care and support they provided for both Peter and Elfrieda over the past few years.

Frieda’s family will receive visitors at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St S, Waterloo on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:15 pm. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at the funeral home at 2:30 pm. Interment will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo, following the funeral.
