Obituary of John Roderick Hartman

It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of John Roderick Hartman on February 25, 2025 at the age of 69.

John will be missed and has left an empty place in our hearts, although we do feel a great joy that he will be reunited with his mother Yvonne and his son JD as well as his many friends and loved ones that have passed before him.

John was a fun man who was always known as the "life of the party"! His big grin and sense of humor is what made him the Johnny that we loved! He was a connoisseur of all types of music and was a collector of many things, which he loved showing off to friends whenever he could. He lived a full life and experienced many things and was quoted as saying recently that "he is content, he has lived his life and has zero regrets" to which his family takes solace in.

John is remembered by his daughter Shanna and his son Mitchell, his beloved grandchildren Jaylynne, Teswayne JR and Teshanna, his brother Dan, sister-in-law Rosy, and nephew Keith. As well as his life partner Kim.

John was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario and worked for many years at Apex Metals.

We will always love him and will carry on his spirit forever.

As John wished, there will be no service at this time, cremation has taken place. The family will plan a celebration of life in the future for family and close friends.
