Obituary of Raymond Simon
In Loving Memory of Raymond Simon,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond, a beloved partner, stepfather, friend, and all-around expert in napping with a fishing rod in hand. He cast his final line on March 8th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warm memories, and a collection of fishing lures that no one really knew how to use but him.
Raymond was a man of simple pleasures: crisp summer mornings by the lake, a perfectly seasoned roast beef (with extra gravy, always), and enjoying his well-earned smoke break every so often. His grandkids adored him for sneaking them extra dessert when no one was looking. Holidays won't be the same without him.
Though our hearts are heavy, we know Raymond is now somewhere peaceful — likely with a fishing pole in one hand, a cigarette in the other, and a smug grin as he claims he's "finally winning at life."
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's RC Church, 148 Madison Ave. S., Kitchener on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1 p.m.
*Parking is available at St. Peter and Paul Romanion Orthodox Church, 184 Madison Avenue S, Kitchener*

Rest easy, Raymond — may the fish be biting, the gravy be endless, and the grandkids always remember the magic you brought to our lives.
