Obituary of Donald Roland Joseph Sabourin

Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, at Grand River Hospital – Freeport Campus, at the age of 75.

He is survived by his partner, Marianne Wainman; his children Shane Girard, Christine Crittenden, and Samantha Sabourin; his grandchildren Jade, Jenny, Jocelyn, Tyler, Hannah, Lilly, and Jackson; and his great-grandchild Lyric.

Don is predeceased by his parents, Edmond and Rose Sabourin.

Don was born in North Bay, ON. He enjoyed tinkering on old cars and talking on CB radios. He will live on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow in the funeral home’s Historic Kuntz House. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
