Obituary of Eugene Raymond Vachon

Passed away peacefully at his home with his fur baby, Lucky, faithfully at his side, on April 2, 2025, in Waterloo, ON.

He will be missed by his sisters Claire Provencher and Marie Pelland, and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He was a social butterfly and had many friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. He also leaves behind his former partner and two daughters.

Predeceased by his parents and one of his sisters.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the dedicated volunteers at Elder PAWS for their assistance in taking care of Lucky while Eugene was unwell. We are also very grateful to the staff members with Supportive Housing of Waterloo for their outstanding service during Eugene’s time with them.

Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Eugene’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. He will be laid to rest in Sudbury with his parents.
