Obituary of Donald Runstedler

Passed away in his home on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Beloved brother of Fern Schagena (Doug) of Cargill, Joe Runstedler of Kitchener, Wendy Longworth (Milton) of Kitchener, and George Runstedler (Gina) of Kitchener. Uncle of Tara Schagena, Joe Runstedler Jr., Christine Belsky (David), Milton Longworth Jr., Spenser Longworth, and great-uncle of Michael, Ashleigh, and Chelsea Schagena.

Predeceased by his parents George and Mary (nee Sherrer) Runstedler, his nephew Todd Schagena, and his great-nephew Jordan Runstedler.

Donald worked for Air Boss for over 20 years, retiring at the age of 65. He was passionate about sports and found immense joy in watching games. Don was also an avid card player. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 6 - 8 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s RC Church, 85 Strange St, Kitchener, ON, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow the Mass at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception will follow the interment at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home’s Fireside Reception Room.
