Obituary of Rosina Treichel

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the age of 89.

Rosina is survived by her children Ingrid Schugardt (Ray, deceased.), Sharon Hendrickson (Bill, deceased.), Peter (Christine), and Lisa West (Gary). Loving Oma of Jeff (Agnes), Christine (Kristopher), Matthew, Brian and Graeme. Great-grandma to Sophie, Mischa, and Kassia.

Predeceased by her husband Erwin Treichel (2015).

Rosina adored her grandchildren and great-granddaughters, and enjoyed giving “Oma Hugs.” She delighted in family gatherings, enjoyed reading and completing jigsaw puzzles, and loved riding the ION. She will be deeply missed.

A Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, April 20, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home’s Chapel on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. A Reception will follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
