Obituary of Elizabeth Jean Goldsworthy

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the age of 95.

Jean is survived by her daughter Lesley (Pete), son Jeff (Sheila), and was a loving Nana to her grandkids Prescott (Morgan), Adrienne (Eddie), and Rachel (John).  

Predeceased by her husband Bob and her daughter Lisa.

Jean was an avid bridge player, achieving the title of Gold Life Master. She also enjoyed tennis, badminton, golf, and cross-country skiing, and she loved animals. Jean was the treasurer at the Chantry Centre, and at Faith Lutheran Church, where she was a longtime member. In Southhampton, Jean started a PROBUS club and worked as the President of the club.

A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 525 Ivings Dr., Port Elgin at 1 p.m

Cremation has taken place.
