Obituary of Joan Harper

Joan Ann Harper passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18th, 2025, at The Village of Winston Park in Kitchener.

Joan is lovingly remembered by her three sons and their spouses: Mark (Sherry), Craig (Peggy), and Steven (Mary Jane). She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Harper (1996). Together, Joan and George were proud owners of the Bloomingdale Marine. After George’s passing, Joan continued to live a full and meaningful life, staying active through volunteer work, visiting her cousin in Buffalo, and cherishing time with her family.

She was devoted grandmother to Janine, Wesley, Brandon (Alice), Melanie (Brendan) and Natasha (Anthony), and a proud great-grandmother to Kaiden and Iris.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at The Village of Winston Park for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Joan over the past year and a half.

Cremation has taken place, and a private celebration of Joan’s life will be held at a later date.
