June passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

 

She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Randy) Herman, their daughter Gillian Herman (Rob Tudhope), and their two sons Hunter and Ryan Tudhope; her daughter Marjorie (Wes) Lambert and their children Chad Smith, Todd Smith and his son Jordan Smith, Alison Lambert and her sons Isaac and Jacob Whitfield and Kyle Harling, and Aaron Lambert (Danielle Dale); her son-in-law John Kavelman and his children Matthew (Brandy Cornish) Kavelman and their children Kolden and Adelyn Kavelman, and Laura (Richard) Lamb and their children Evan Kavelman, Kenzington, and Rhetton Lamb; her son James (Angela) Hackett and their children Regan Hackett and his daughter Amira Hackett, and Juliet and Laila Hackett; and her son Mark (Rebecca) Hackett and their two daughters Emily and Leah Hackett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

 

June was predeceased by her husband Russell Hackett in June 1997, her son Brian Hackett in May 2019, and her daughter Eleanor Kavelman in February 2022. Mom was the last surviving member of her family. She was also predeceased by her seven sisters and four brothers.

 

A private interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to the Funeral Service at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 2:15pm. A Celebration of June’s Life will follow in the Fireside Room. 

 

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Listowel Memorial Hospital and Livingstone Manor Retirement Home for their excellent care of Mom.
