Ruth was a long-time employee of Arrow Shirts, Kitchener, and in her earlier years was an avid golfer and roller skater. Ruth had no children of her own, but to her 80 nieces and nephews she was a very special aunt. Family meant a lot to Ruth - she was known to spend countless hours knitting dolls or baby clothes, many of which were sent to overseas missions. Ruth and Tony were an inseparable duo, known for their many road trips south, their unexpected visits with family and friends and their commitment to caring for, and visiting Ruth’s sister, Lois.
Ruth’s family wishes to thank the medical team at Waterloo Regional Health Network - Midtown and Chicopee (formerly Grand River and Freeport Hospitals), for their loving care and support.
