Obituary of Ioan Bota

Ioan passed away at the Waterloo Regional Health Network – Midtown (formerly Grand River Hospital) on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the age of 83.

He is survived by his wife Iuliana, son Ovidiu, daughter-in-law Mihaela and the two beloved grandsons Horatiu and Patrick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Ioan’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. John the Baptizer Romanian Orthodox Church, 2150 Bleams Rd., Kitchener, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Ave., Waterloo.
