I read, with sadness, the passing of Dave. We crossed paths on many occasions be it on the football field or basketball court in those epic battles between Dave's Kennedy Clippers and our Assumption Purple Raiders. Dave was an outstanding athlete in multiple sports and best of all he remained a good and kind person. His passing must be very painful for his spouse and the entire extended family but rest assured his accomplishments are recognized here in the Windsor- Essex County area. Dave was one of the finest athletes ever produced in our area. My sincere condolences to the family. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Dave was a good man. Leo Innocente Kingston, On.

Leo, thank you for your condolences and wonderful memories and kind words. It’s wonderful to hear from people who knew my dad in his younger years in Windsor and to hear first hand from people who knew him as the fine young athlete and person that he was.

Mr. Hilliard, it’s so nice to hear from you! Thank you for your condolences, kind words and memories. Living in Markham and on Henry Corson were such good years for my dad and our whole family. We’ve often discussed our happy memories of times there and the great neighbours we had. As I recall we had some fun pool parties at your place. Thanks again for taking the time to remember my dad.

I am David’s cousin , his father was my mother’s brother , a family of 10 siblings. I attended high school one year behind David and played sports at the same time I always enjoyed my contact with David and found him a gentle and kind person.
