Obituary of Sharon Kathleen Kingsbury

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at WRHN @ Queen’s Blvd (formerly St. Mary’s Hospital) at the age of 72.

Survived by her sons Ryan and Shawn Vanhinsberg, stepchildren David and Danielle Kingsbury. Will be missed by her beloved cats Daisy and Lily.

Sharon spent her work career with the Royal Bank which started in the early 70’s in Montreal and then Toronto, Guelph and Waterloo Region until she retired in 2007. Despite retiring earlier than most, Sharon spent the majority of her time volunteering proctoring services at the local universities, volunteering one on one care with the elderly, organizing events with her widowers group and coordinating games and providing accounting services for her Euchre group.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 11am – 1pm.  Interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
