Obituary of Waclaw Adam Zajaczkowski

Passed away peacefully at WRHN Chicopee – Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the age of 62.

Beloved husband of Janina.

Loving father of Emilia (Damian) and Daniel (Anoushka).

Cherished grandfather (Dziadzia) of Luka and Mila.

Survived by his mother Alfreda and his sister Paulina.

Predeceased by his father Adam Zajaczkowski.

Adam was immensely proud of his career in the engineering field. His work was more than just a job — it was a source of fulfillment and a reflection of his strong work ethic and sharp mind.

He had a lifelong passion for cycling and a love of learning about the world, especially through travel and exploring history firsthand. Above all, he treasured time spent with his grandchildren, whose laughter and presence lit up his life.

He will be remembered for his warmth, intellect, and the quiet strength he shared with those around him.

A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hospice of Waterloo Region for their dedicated care and support over the last few weeks.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
