Obituary of Rosemarie Kavanagh

Rosemarie passed away peacefully from this world on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 78 in the presence of her loving and devoted husband, Colin, for 55 years. Originally from Bell Island, NL, Rosemarie moved to Kitchener in 1967 where she settled and enjoyed a long career at Lear Seating.

She is predeceased by her parents William and Bridget and her sisters Jean and Margaret and brothers Mike and Robert. Leaving to mourn are her brothers and sisters, Bill, Dot (Tom), Jack, Edward, Doreen (Gil), Gerald, Agatha (Marty) and Bernard; as well as, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, especially her best friend Heather Gilbey.

Visitation at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 171 Lourdes St., Waterloo, on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:00am. Reception to follow at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home’s Fireside Reception Room. Burial will take place immediately following the reception at Woodland Cemetery, 119 Arlington Blvd., Kitchener.
