Dear Family and Friends. On Thursday, May 22, 2025 we lost the Matriarch of our family, Doris Mabel Finn. Mom was inspirational as our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, Co-Worker and revered friend to those who knew and loved her. She always gave her time to those in need and never wavered in her commitment to help them. She loved nursing, the outdoors, animals, card games, spending her retirement years at her beloved LutheRanch, volunteering, travelling and so many more adventures. Age never stopped her. In Ireland at the age of 88 Mom conquered the steps of Blarney Castle in order to kiss the famous Blarney Stone while others 20 years her junior were unsuccessful. At the age of 89 Mom went parasailing in St. Petersburg, Florida. At the age of 91 Mom and other family members and friends travelled to many cities in Rome, Austria and Germany. Mom enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, sewing, her time with the Lutheran Women’s League and so much more. Mom lived and loved life.
Mom loved her frogs.
Mom’s favorite saying was:
“LIFE IS MOMENTS, THIS IS ONE”
