We are deeply saddened and broken-hearted to announce the death of Li Kyong Fa LEUNG TAK WAN, also known by his loved ones and friends as “Kyong”. He died on Friday, May 30th, 2025 at his residence in Kitchener.
Kyong was born on March 9th, 1973 in Mauritius and was working as a French teacher at L’Harmonie Elementary School in Waterloo. He also worked as a mechanical engineer during the course of his career.
He leaves behind his loving son, Liam, his devoted wife, Robina, his siblings, Kim Fa, Leung Fa (aka Jimmy), Yin Fa (aka Coco), Chin Lan (aka Jennifer), Valérie and Kayee and his mother, Ah Son.
Kyong was a very devoted brother, husband, father and Christian and an example to many, on top of being supremely gifted, hard-working and talented. He always put the needs and welfare of others above his own and led a life driven by kindness and genuine Christian love. His dedication to the well-being of his friends, family, students and brothers and sisters in Christ will never be forgotten.
