Obituary of Louise Marie Jordan (nee Smith)

After many years of suffering from chronic pain, Louise Jordan passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the age of 87.

Lou was born on October 12, 1937 in Vineland and was the youngest daughter of Jason and Aletha (nee Fretz) Smith.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Douglas (Debbie), Kenneth, and Brian (Sue), grandchildren Teri-Lynn (Doug Monague), McKenzie, Bryn, Alexandra, and Taylor, and her great-grandchild Emberly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lou was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Jordan, parents Jason and Aletha Smith, sister Rheta Austin, and her brother Donald Smith.

A Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. A Memorial Service will begin in the funeral home’s chapel at 1:00 p.m. A Reception will follow. Private interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
