Obituary of Brian Jeffrey Nutter

With heavy hearts, the family is sad to announce that our dear brother Brian passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the age of 57 years.

Son of the late James (Jim) and Frances (Fran) Nutter (nee Rutz). He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his brothers Allan (Laura) and Jim (Janice), nieces Melissa, Melissa and Sarah, nephews Ryan and Cory, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A lifelong resident of Waterloo, Brian followed his dad into the automotive parts wholesale business in Kitchener and on what was expected to be a short-term assignment found himself with a 35-year career in the New Hamburg area.  In addition to the friends he made through work, he easily made many friends by way of his interests in golf and cross-fit training.   

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held in the Fireside Room at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 2-4 pm with tributes shared by family and friends at 3:30 pm.

Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
