I only knew Bryan through having bought several of his restored electronic pieces and watching many of his videos over the years.
Everything I bought from him was lovingly restored and he brought many more years of life to them. I’m listening to a little Kenwood receiver he did a few years back and it sounds fantastic, nothing like a tired old 50 plus years old relic. Just from his equipment and videos you could see he loved his hobbies, but also life.

Dear Anne and girls. Please accept my sadness for Bryan's passing into the Hands of Jesus.
Bryan was a true friend when I was going through a very rough time when I Pastored in Kitchener. He was the only person who would talk to me when I was on sick leave from that church. He and I enjoyed restoring electronics and shared much about each others life when others shunned me. He was truly a gift of God.

Dearest Anne, Josi, Audrey, and Lydia we are so saddened by the sudden passing of Bryan, but so grateful we had a meal together last week. It is always good to be together.
Dan and Bryan shared the same passion for “Big John” and I wish we could say with certainty who introduced who! One of those questions I wish I could ask Bryan. What I do know is they shared conversation and subs on a pretty routine bases for a very long time.
Bryan had a keen interest in Music, Old Radios, Antique Clocks, Buying and refurbishing old treasures and selling them, along with old cars! The hours of conversations about these things never seemed to diminish with years. Our kids dubbed Bryan as “Best friend Bryan White”
His greatest pride was in family, “ all his girls”. His adoration for Anne and what she brought to his life was what he treasured.
As the girls came one by one, his love of them increased. Bryan was kind, quiet, and his thoughts ran deep!
Many discussions of Faith and spiritual journeys were shared over the years. We are so sad that Bryan is gone from our presence, but we know he is basking in the sunshine of Heaven and safe in the arms of Jesus
For you his family, I trust that the many memories you made together, will flood your hearts with joy, and peace.
We love you Anne and are thinking of you today!
We will be praying you all through! We are grateful for a friendship that stood the test of time. We could always just pickup where we left off.

Dearest Anne,
We were heartbroken to hear of Bryan’s sudden passing. As part of our small group, he always brought such a quiet strength and gentle kindness that will be deeply missed. His love for old radios was intriguing—he had a way of turning a conversation into a moment of curiosity, teaching us all to slow down and appreciate the simple things. And how we’ll miss those lunches at Harvey’s—filled with laughter, good stories, and Bryan’s easy-going spirit.
Bryan’s generosity will never be forgotten. He was such an encouragement when Lisa was beginning to dream about publishing her book of Pentecost devotions—always willing to lend a hand or get back to you when he needed to find the answer. That was who Bryan was: helpful, humble, and steady.
Anne, we are so saddened for you and your girls. We pray that God’s comfort surrounds you and that you feel the love of your church family at LRC holding you close in the days ahead.

Our heartfelt condolences Anne, Josi, Audrey and Lydia. Bryan made life fun for himself and everyone around him. He consistently found the quirky and funny side of any situation. He brought joy to every interaction we had with him. When you were in Bryan's presence, you relaxed. He was peaceful, gentle and steady, genuinely interested in talking to you. He introduced us to Big John's Subs. I wonder how many new customers Bryan sent to Big John's? He brought his puppets Dewey and Reggie Lou to do children's stories at church, always with a tender encouraging message for the kids. He was a terrific raconteur and savoured things that had happened to him over the years. I remember a story of his grandpa picking him up for lunch from school. It was a snowstorm and Bryan's friends said "he won't make it today." With confidence Bryan said, "my grandpa will make it". And he did. It was so nice to see Bryan and Anne's wedding photos posted. I remember at the reception he gave a speech and said "Look at Anne. Isn't she beautiful?" He loved you, Anne, so deeply. And he was over the moon when he became a father to Josi, Audrey and Lydia. What an honour to have known Bryan.

I am so incredibly sorry to read this. I only met Bryan briefly through Facebook Marketplace (vintage stereo receivers). What a kind and gentle man. I'm deeply saddened that he has passed. My condolences to his family with this heartbreaking loss.

I met Bryan many years ago at Grace Presbyterian Fellowship, a small church where our paths first crossed. From the beginning, our conversations flowed easily—often about music, science fiction, and classic cars. Bryan had a way of making even the most casual chat enjoyable. He introduced me to Big John subs, and I’ll never forget my first one—completely unprepared for the glorious, dripping goodness that came with it!
Bryan was a gentle soul. He had a quiet strength and a deep kindness that made him a wonderful listener and a thoughtful encourager. Whether we were talking about life’s challenges or just enjoying a laugh, Bryan always made time to connect. His quick wit and easy laugh were constants—gifts he shared freely with those around him.
He loved his family deeply. I remember the joy in his eyes as he described creating puppet characters and voices to entertain his children. It was just one of the many ways he poured love into his home. Bryan also had a passion for classic cars, and I always looked forward to hearing his aficionado take on the restorations he’d see at cruise nights—what impressed him, and what didn’t quite make the cut.
Bryan’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. My wife and I were blessed to be part of a small group that he and Anne hosted in their home. We spent many evenings studying the Bible together, growing in faith and friendship. Bryan was always eager to learn more about God, and his thoughts and questions often sparked meaningful conversations.
He often spoke of how fortunate he felt to have Anne by his side. His love and admiration for her character were evident. Bryan’s life was a testament to patience, humility, and grace. He made the world a better place simply by being in it.
