Obituary of William Bryan Joseph White
Bryan White of Waterloo passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in his 60th year.
Dear husband of Anne and loving father of Josanne “Josi” (Colin), Audrey (Daniel), and Lydia. Also survived by his father, William “Bill” White of Stratford, his brother Douglas White (Katherine) of Stratford, and his sister-in-law Sheryl Gray (Tim) of Delta, B.C. Predeceased by his mother, Marion White.
Bryan began his working life installing car stereos but quickly moved on to a long career at Bell Canada / Entourage. He worked for several years as an information technician in the legal field, and then made the move to self-employment. As the owner of AcrossTheDial.ca, Bryan combined a lifelong passion for vintage electronic restoration with his skills as a raconteur, building a loyal following on YouTube. He was a collector, an improviser, and a fixer; a homeschool dad, a photographer, and a lover of classic cars, rock and jazz, science fiction, and Schwabian food. He was also a faithful Christian who will be remembered in several churches across Kitchener-Waterloo, especially for his unique way of leading classes. Most of all, he cherished his family and friends, and always made time for those who needed a listening ear.
Special thanks to the first responders and emergency room staff at Grand River Hospital.
