I only knew Cathy as a child, the big sister of my friend, Julia. Unfortunately, I have few memories of her growing up as she was a few years older than me.
However, even then I remember Cathy having budding artistic talent and being in awe of her drawings. I'm sorry I never connected with her as an adult. She must have been an extraordinary person to have inspired such love and admiration. From all I've heard about her, she was a true force of nature, someone who faced life head on and never looked back.
My deepest, heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends. I know she will be dearly missed.
