Obituary of Erika Gudrun Sypke

Erika Gudrun Sypke passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the age of 92.

In Erika’s own words, “My hills were very hard to climb, so I closed my very tired eyes, and whispered let peace be mine.”

She is predeceased by her husband Ralph (2014).

Loving mother of Peter Sypke (Kendall) and their children Kendra, Tiffany, Danielle and Shawnna; and Patricia Ungermann (predeceased husband Albert) and their children Cailee, Evan and Kallan, eight great-grandchildren, and many more extended family members and friends.

Cremation has taken place and there will not be a service at this time.
