Obituary of Mary Joyce Carroll

Dec. 20, 1925 - June 20, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary (Joyce) Carroll, who departed this life peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Village of Winston Park Nursing Home. We would like to extend our thanks to all staff at Winston Park for the great care and kindness for our Mom. 

A beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Joyce’s presence was a constant source of warmth, strength, and kindness to all who knew her.  

Joyce lived with a generous spirit and unforgettable sense of humour. She touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She had a deep love of reading, often finding joy in and comfort in the pages of her favourite  books and she remained an avid figure skating enthusiast throughout her life, inspired by the discipline and beauty of the sport. She enjoyed gardening and had a love of the outdoors. 

Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Mary Jenkin and by her beloved husband Ted Carroll. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Wendy Carroll (Rick Teachout), Sandy Daly (predeceased Bernie Daly), her cherished grandchildren Ryan Daly (Kristine), and Matthew Daly (Lora), and her adored grandchildren Kieran and Tegan Daly. 

In keeping with Joyce’s wishes, there will be no formal service.
