Obituary of Donna Lee Pestell

After a courageous battle with cancer, Donna Lee Pestell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the age of 83.

Donna is survived by her children Jennifer Whelan (Dan) and Craig Pestell, grandchildren Madeleine Whelan, Jessica Whelan, Thomas Pestell, and Nadia Pestell, and her great-grandchild Zoey Hoo.

She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Pearl Unger.

Donna’s favourite activity was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed puzzling, playing dominoes, and telling a good joke. She truly cherished time with her friends. She will be deeply missed.

Special thanks to the Palliative Care team at WRHN – Chicopee Campus for their compassionate care of Donna over the last few months.

Cremation has taken place, and there will not be a service at this time.
