Obituary of Beatrice Irene Senior (nee Good)

On May 24, 2025 our Mom passed away from this life at the age of 96. Peacefully leaving those who remain to once again join our Dad, her husband of 70 years.  Together forever.

Born in Coldwater, Ontario, she grew up in South River and as an adult raised her family in the Cambridge/Kitchener area. Mom and Dad retired north and settled in Sundridge, Ontario.

Predeceased in 2017 by her beloved husband George, mom spent her final years living in Kitchener, Ontario.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Craig (Roger), Shannon Perizzolo (Graz), Beth Ann Haid, Laura King (Kevin), and son Lanny Senior. Also survived by her grandchildren, Barry (Brenda), Paul, Ryan (Kesley), Connor, Sarah, Ben, Jacob and Nicole, and great granddaughter, Adelaide.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and there will not be a service.

Mom instilled in us an appreciation for nature in her love for birds, wildlife and flowers. As kids she would often remind us to “just stop, take a minute and actually look at the world”.

Walking was a passion for her and she enjoyed hours spent exploring the areas, forests or parks wherever she lived. Fresh air was her life tonic.

These simple inspirations will stay with us forever and whenever we stop and look around we will feel you in the sunbeams, streaming through blustering clouds, the haunting wail of the loon announcing his presence, and the simple beauty of raindrops on a perfect rose.
