Obituary of Connie Louise Evans

Passed away peacefully at Riverbend Place Long-Term Care Home, Cambridge, on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Survived by her sons, Scott (Michelle) and Robbie (Alesha).  Grandchildren, Ella, Emily, Michael, Cooper, Zoie, Keenan and Hailey. Her sister, Erlma Schaus (Doug, deceased) and her brothers, Robert Huth (Pauline), Sherwin Huth (Sue, deceased), Roger Huth (Heather), David Huth (Glenna), and Douglas Huth (Barbara).

Predeceased by her husband, Michael.  Her parents Harold and Irene Huth, her brother, Wayne Huth and her in-laws, James and Anne Evans.

Connie grew up in Walkerton before moving to Waterloo with her family.  She had a full and wonderful career with Bell Canada. Connie was devoted in her time with Lutherwood and helping youth services in the community.  She was a loving wife and mother, who was always there for her family and friends unconditionally.

Special thanks to all the staff at Riverbend Longterm Care, their kindness and compassion really made mom feel taken care of.

Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Connie’s life at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
